More than a Passion - Answering the Call of Christ!

I was born again in 2020, in the middle of the initial governmental shutdowns, during the initial Covid situation the world was facing, here in Canada. The Lord did a wonderful work when He saved my family and I during this time when churches in theory, should have not even been permitted to be open according to those in authority.

Nonetheless, the Lord did what only He could do through some very courageous children of God and Pastors, who continued to do the work of the Great Commission and follow the instructions of the Lord Jesus Christ (Mat. 28:16-20; Luke 24:44-49, Mark 15:16-18 and Acts 1:6-8). This was despite the obstacles presented to them at the time, which included threats of physical aggression, and even death threats.

The situation described above, may be difficult to believe that such a thing would happen in the western world, but it did. Unfortunately, threats against peoples’ lives and their physical, emotional and spiritual well-being for the cause of Christ is nothing new in this world. Persecution began during the first century A.D. and continues till this day. However, my brief experience with the infancy of persecution in Canada, or rather oppression towards churches and Christians in the western world, pale in comparison to the first century style persecution that remains prevalent across various other parts of the world. Shortly after having received the Lord into my heart, He called me forward to study His word and show myself approved (2 Tim. 2:15). I have since been blessed with the opportunity to help support the part of the body of Christ that is still indeed bleeding and often risking life and limb, for simply not denouncing their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 3:12 - “Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”

Raising awareness in the western world about the current realities faced by our brothers and sisters in Christ around the globe; garnering support for them through partnerships in prayer and finances with those who are moved to help Christians who are under heavy persecution, is not just a passion - it is a calling.

We at ACP who answer the call are grateful for your prayers, your financial support, and your obedience to Christ, in not forgetting our brothers and sisters, since we too are part of the body of Christ (Heb 13:3).

"May the LORD bless you and keep you; may the LORD cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may the LORD lift up His countenance toward you and give you peace." (Num. 6:24-26)
