In the Kingdom of Power

At the end of the village stands a small house, next to a simple meeting room. The number of shoes in front of the entrance indicates the many people who have come to the service. Some men wear Sikh turbans, the women's festive dresses are colorful. But how is it that there is a church in this remote place?

The last hope

Pastor S. is a former Sikh. Sikhism combines elements of Hinduism and Islam. Their only deity is called Waheguru. But even this deity cannot help S.'s family. One of his sons is deaf, and neither doctors nor priests are able to help him. One day, S. hears about a gathering where people pray for the sick in the name of Jesus Christ. He brings his son to this meeting. Jesus opens his ears so that he can hear again! S. and his entire family give their lives to the Son of God.

Under God's protection

They are the first Christians in the village. At first, S. has no idea how to pray, how to preach, how to baptize. But he passes on the little he knows to the villagers. Through his testimony, many people are healed and come to believe in Jesus. A church is formed, and S. becomes its pastor. Later, he comes to our training center and is trained for this ministry.

The church gains notoriety due to the many new Christians. Unfortunately, radical Hindus also hear about it and decide to destroy the church. The pastor is afraid, but the believers pray for protection and God intervenes in a supernatural way. Again and again they are slandered and harassed, but their meetings cannot be stopped.

Supplication, miracles, joy

The presence of God in their midst is also evident through great signs and wonders. An elderly man with a terminal illness had visited over 20 doctors and twice as many witch doctors, but he did not get well. Then he heard about Jesus Christ in the church, put his trust in him, and was healed. We see him jumping around on stage with joy, unable to stop praising Jesus.

A young couple tells their story: Their newborn baby died due to breathing problems, which was confirmed by several hospital doctors. But the church gathered together in prayer and asked Jesus for a miracle—and the baby came back to life! The kingdom of God consists not only of words, but of power!
